Aqua Lofoten Coast Adventure

Aqua Lofoten Coast Adventure AS was founded in October 2009, based on two already existing companies, Aqua Lofoten, dive center run by Therese Amalie Nilsen and Coast Adventure, sea safaris run by Lars-Åge Larsen.

Lars and Therese have been active both under and over the surface of the Lofoten Sea since 2006. With their knowledge and experience about animal life, culture and history, they will for sure give you an unforgettable adventure.

The head office is in Reine, Moskenes, where most of the trips run from. Accommodation and activities are also available from their department in Nusfjord, Flakstad.

Lars-Åge Larsen

Lars-Åge Larsen was born and raised in Borgvåg, but moved further west many years ago. Lars started off his career as a fisherman in the way north of Norway, but found his way back home and started to work in the fishing industry. Before he met Therese and moved to Reine, Lars had many years of experience with tourism in Lofoten. Lars is skipper on out boats and definitely our handy man.

Therese Amalie Nilsen

Therese was born and raised on a small island in the Oslofjord, and loves being in the water. She has more than ten years of experience as a PADI dive instructor, but her main occupation has been accounting and auditing until she moved to Lofoten to start full time with activities on the sea. Therese is the manager of the small family’s business, but serves also as skipper, dive instructor, guide and service technician. Therese received a price in 2008 for her coming to Lofoten to start this business.

Boats

ALCA –                 35 foot RIB with 2*250 horsepower engines. The boat has 17 seats and plenty of room for luggage and dive equipment. The company bought this boat in 2010.

RIBBEN –             23 foot RIB with 200 horsepower engine. The boat has 9 seats and serves as a boat in addition to ALCA for big groups. The company bought this boat in 2008.

TRIO II –             70 foot fishing boat. The boat sleeps 7 passengers and is used for fishing trips, diving and sightseeing. The company bought this boat in 2011.
